Surviving Finals

I know I may be late with this post , but I had to go through the finals to know what are the essentials.
The finals week I admit was HELL !! I did spend most of my nights studying. So here are some tips to help you go through this difficult difficult time ,,,

Eye cream:
whatever you use as your normal eye cream do not forget to use it, cause this is the time you'll need it the most !!

Bubble Baths :

I know who has the time right ?! but believe me sparing this one hour for your self to fully relax will change up you attitude ! you need this girl !!
I do recommend Lush's bath bombs

Stress Relief Spray:

This is an aroma therapy spray should decrease your stress levels. This is very helpful during the most stressful time of the semester. Just spray some on your bed sheet and sweet dreams !!

Evian Face spray:

Been studying for hours and you need a pick me up, just spray this on your face. Plus it is very good for your skin!!

Dry Shampoo:

Who has the time or energy to wash their hair during such time ?!!!
This is when dry shampoo is a  life saver.

Getting Ready :

 You are going to school but you don't have time but still want too look presentable. Here are some tricks that would help you look more awake and put together:

Put on you dry shampoo and wrap your hair is a high bun. You can use a bow or a hair accessory for extra added cutness.

For the eyes use white or nude eyeliner on your lower lash line. This will brighten up your eyes and face. Finish the eyes by adding heaps of mascara. A volumizing mascara would be better as we aren't lining our eyes.

Add a bold lip color like red, orange or pink. This would make you look more put together and adds color to your dull and tired complexion. Nobody would even notice your dark circles !
If you are not up for adding a lipstick try the lip crayons. I know they are all the rage right now. They are amazing as they add color and are moisturizing.

Products that I have been LOYAL to !!!

Here are products that I have been very loyal too. Why ? Cause I have never found anything that work better yet ,,,,

Body : 

1) Soap and Glory's  "Clean on Me" body wash:

This I believer have help with all my black head blemishes. This is the third year I have been using this body wash and I can say you will never get bored of the heavenly scent it has !!! It doesn't lather as much as the Victoria Secret's body wash or Bath and Body works , but I don't mind.

2) Soap's and Glory's Scrubs:

I actually use three scrubs. I have a daily scrub , a weekly scrub and I scrub that I use to pamper myself with...

My daily scrub that I use is called "The scrub of your Life". It is a vey good scrub, it has a sweet scent to it. It is kind of moisturizing too, and not too rough on the skin.

My weekly scrub is Soap and Glory's Thermal Scrub. This is an amazing product !! You can actually feel it heat up as you are scrubing your body. I use this once a week because I am afraid of it being too harsh on my dry skin.

I use Soap and Glory's "Sugar Crush" every now and then when I want to pamper myself. This scrub has to bee my favorite !! The smell of it will fill your bathroom !!

Face and Makeup : 

1) Clinque's face wash :

I used to use their 3 steps however I have found a better moisturizer and the toner is too harsh on the dry areas. I do love the face wash a. I can't stress how important it is to was your face and use a toner every single day !!

2) Bioderma makeup remover:

This is a great makeup remover that doesn't irritate my eyes and removes makeup really well. It is water based and not harsh on the skin. In fact, it is rather moisturizing ! It's new to my list as I just went to repurchase it . I think it will stay here for a very long time too.

3) Lancome Artliner :

I remember when my favorite eyeliner from Lancome was discontinued 2 years ago and I was so depressed. However, the lady at the counter convinced my to buy the new one and I was hooked ! This thing makes it so easy to draw a thin or thick eyeliner. Also it helped me so much with perfecting my winged liner. I think I am going through my 5th one already !!
I recommend to all you beginners . The felt tip on this thing would make drawing you eyeliner so much easier.

4) Benefit's ChaCha tint:

Ever since it came out I have been using it almost daily. I put it on my lips and cheeks for a nautral color. I do love the other colors but this compliments my tan skin better.

5)Benefit's porefessional:

This is a miracle potion ! I couldn't and still can't believe that something this cool exists !! This is a must for all the girls with larger pores. I got everybody in my family including my mother and my cousins hooked and obsessed with this as much as I am .


6) Bobbi Browns corrector :

This corrector is a miracle worker with my charcoal black dark circles.
However, it may be too heavy for some people, but to me I love it cause it stays on all day.

Its everyhthing !! We get cold days , hot days, humid days , sometimes stormy days too.

April Favorites

Here is a list of products that I have been using and loving for the last month.


1) Dior Hydra Life Skin Energizer

This product to me is revolutionary. I used to suffer from morning puffiness but not anymore !! Once I put it on , say good bye to all that puffiness ! Also I noticed that my moisturizer works even better with this product put on before hand.


2) Dior Lip Serum :

This product is awesome for all those college girls, or any girl with long working hours. This has been so helpful especially with the weather transition . I tend to get extremely dry when the weather is constantly changing from sun to rain in minutes.
This stick is so moisturizing, and is very pigmented. I have darker lips , and I don't feel like I need a lip pencil or concealer under this.
The color that I have been rocking is 760. This is a nude mauvey color thats not in your face . Its perfect for school or work.







3) Vaseline even tone lotion :

I have started using this because this is not just an amazing lotion but has built in UV protection which is a major plus !! It claims that it even tones the skin especially with darker elbows. I still haven't used it for that long but I will definitely do a review in a months time if it really gave me even toned skin.

4) Sephora Instant Nail Polish Remover :

This is for all those lazy girls ;D
Its really a quick way to remove your nail polish. Just stick your finger in and voila no more nail polish. I can say that I have been changing up my nail polish a lot recently, and it wasn't harsh at all.

However, it will take you more time to remove glittery nail polish.
Don't remove your nail polish in it when you have some gems on your nails cause they'll get stuck in there and feel weird the next time. Also that way you will damage the sponge.
Also obviously you can't use this on your feet .


5) L'oreal Tecni Art Hair Serum:

This is an amazing product that helped with my crazy frizzy hair. It was able tame it , and gave it that healthy shine. Awesome product.





6) Soap and Glory The Scrub of Your Life:

Smells heavenly !! Has the right consistency, and moisturizes too. Its not to harsh but not to soft that you don't feel like its doing anything.







7) YSL gel liner :

This is peeeerfect of SUMMER !! Its so WATERPROOF . This gel liner comes in so much colors . I of course have it in black. I am also considering buying the blue one cause blue is so in right now.

This doesn't budge , easy to use . I am loving it <3<3

8) Bioderma Sensibio h2o makeup remover:

Every beauty guru I know raved about this so I had to try it !! Its amazing. Perfect for all the girls with dry skin cause its water based. It removes makeup really good. However, its not strong enough to remove my YSL liner so I had to go buy a water proof makeup remover.

I love that it comes in a 500 mL bottle. It took me forever to finish it. Also the pump makes it super easy to use.
